Sphericity and corrections
With more than two conditions, the uncorrected F test assumes equal variances of pairwise differences. The calculator provides Greenhouse–Geisser and Huynh–Feldt epsilon estimates, corrected degrees of freedom and p-values. It defaults to Greenhouse–Geisser and does not perform Mauchly's diagnostic. With two conditions, no correction is needed. Missing observations must be resolved consistently across conditions before analysis.
Epsilon formulas follow the Pingouin method documentation. Corrections address sphericity, not dependence between subjects or non-normal data.
